01 · Lemon
Unsprayed, sun-drenched, hand-picked, with peels bursting with essential oils. Over 300 grams per litre, the mark of a 'Superiore' limoncello. You can taste it.
02 · Sugar
Where others use 300-350 grams, Saluti stays below 250 grams per litre; because limoncello doesn't need that much sugar when the quality is right. Soft water, the best lemons, pure organic grain alcohol, then sugar can go down. The result? Perfectly fresh-sweet.
03 · Water
The big secret of baristas for great coffee is filtered and mineralised water. And when your product is largely made up of water, that makes sense. Limoncello is no different. That's why our water is filtered and mineralised with magnesium by BWT. The result: a softer, rounder taste.
04 · Alcohol
Quality organic grain alcohol ensures purity, extraction power and flavour balance. The ideal range for authentic limoncello is 28-32% VOL. We found the sweet spot at 31%. Not too sharp, full and smooth. The result of experience and continuous testing.
